Learn about the foundations of human movement and how to integrate these essential movements into your practice of yoga and at the gym. This training includes and transcends traditional methods of building strength, flexibility, functional performance, and sensitivity.  Suitable for all-levels, but advanced yoga practitioners will benefit from visiting traditional asanas through the lens of developmental inquiry. This is durability training for humans and foundation core functions that all other movement is built upon. Those that study high performance are learning that the name of the game is recovery and freeing the joints. Come learn what it’s all about!

MyoFascial Release Techniques

Learn soft-tissue release techniques and the benefit for your health. No matter what physical activity or lack of physical activity you are into, soft tissue work is vital for releasing tension to allow for pain-free living and recovery. Each week we will focus on an area of the body and the specific techniques for working with that area of the body. At the end of the four weeks you will have learned the techniques and tools for working with soft tissue in your home practice or pre and post workout for optimal recovery.

Yoga and Meditation: The Power of Personal Practice

4 Week Series $65 (no drop-ins) Nov 5 - Nov 26

Sundays at Sangha Studio 2:30-3:30

Develop and understand the science behind a personal yoga and meditation practice. Daily practice of 20-30 minutes will support balance in your life on every level. Over the course of the four weeks we will progressively add on to a developmental approach to asana and a mindful approach to meditation. We will talk about the science behind posture choice and meditation style so that you feel confident in what you’re spending your time doing, which will allow you to become grounded in your practice.
